Over the years, Ryan has tried numerous workout programs, everything from HIIT to Insanity to P90X but he didn’t get truly hooked on one type of program until he tried CrossFit. He was a member of CrossFit WorkHouse in Stillwater for 3 years and is now one of the new owners of Peak 5 CrossFit.

Ryan’s movement of choice for workouts are burpees but his kryptonite is the thruster.

Sheila McAlpine

Sheila started her fitness journey in 2009 when challenged to run a half marathon.  She's been running ever since. She has tried countless programs but it wasn't until CrossFit that it all clicked.  She is passionate in helping others find their potential and excited to be a part of their fitness journey.

Sheila’s favorite movement for workouts are push presses but her least favorite is the snatch.

 
 
 

tom mcalpine

Tom has been a “gym rat” for many years and has tried numerous regimens and programs during those years. He has been doing CrossFit since early 2015, and since then has come to believe in the system, benefits, and philosophy that makes CrossFit the best overall fitness program available.

Tom’s movement of choice for workouts are squat cleans but the move that creates the biggest challenge is the overhead squat.

Jennifer has been a member of the NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) since 2015 and has been a group fitness instructor in multiple types of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) group fitness classes since 2014. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a licensed mental health professional (LICSW) in MN. Jennifer is deeply invested in comprehensive health and wellness including exercise, nutrition and mental health and how they are interrelated. Her focus at PEAK 5 is mobility, range of motion, and recovery. Jennifer enjoys participating in a variety of fitness classes including CrossFit, HIIT classes, and challenging herself in fun runs (5K/10K's) and obstacle course events like the Tough Mudder with her friends and family.

 
 
 

ben sexton

Trainer

Ben’s focus is on developing the technique required to efficiently use strength and control explosive power. As a former gymnast with expertise in a variety of extreme sports, Ben brings unique insight to CrossFit training. He has three years of experience in CrossFit and has participated in several CrossFit competitions, with more to come in 2017. Ben’s classes are known for slightly louder music than most.

Ben’s favorite movement for workouts are muscle ups but his least favorite is the strict press.

Rebecca Shikenjanski

Rebecca has been in the fitness industry since the 90's starting as a group fitness instructor in college, moving into marathon training, personal training and finally CrossFit.  Many years of running lead to a serious foot injury that brought her to CrossFit in 2013. She has been coaching ever since!

Rebecca excels in body weight exercises and says wall balls and thrusters are a challenge for her. Contrary to popular belief, she enjoys doing burpees!

 
 
 

KASI TOMPKINS

Trainer

For Kasi, athletics and competition have always run deep in her soul, from traveling to softball tournaments from a young age to playing college hockey, she has always been on the move. She discovered CrossFit in 2013 as a way to get back into shape after having kids, and hasn't looked back since! The internal battle, the physical challenge, and the class encouragement have kept her coming back day after day. She loves that CrossFit allows for constant varied movements and workouts with super supportive people of varied athletic abilities. Through her own struggles to learn proper form and technique, she has developed a passion for sharing these experiences and helping others in their fitness journey.

Linda Towle

Trainer

Linda has been a part of the fitness industry for 20 years. She is certified in Body Pump, Body Flow, Grit and teaches a variety of boot camp classes. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, spending time with friends, making them workout of course, and cherishes time with her husband and 5 children.

 
 
 

Stephanie Ziefle

After my first CrossFit class in 2015, I felt the most challenged I have ever been. I knew right away this was going to become a passion of mine. As a busy Mom, I understand the benefit of an effective and time efficient workout, as well as having people push me further than I would ever take myself. I'm passionate about staying healthy and active and inspiring people every day.
